Sir Chris Hoy to open NEC Cycle Show

Organisers of the NEC Cycle Show, Upper Street Events, have this morning told BikeBiz that Sir Chris Hoy is to cut the ribbon on the opening trade day.

The Olympian, who recently won two gold medals at London 2012 and apparently puts down more torque than a Ferrari Enzo, will be present at the opening at 9.30 on Thursday September 27th.

Cycle Show’s head of marketing lucinda Hyde-McCready told BikeBiz: "As you can imagine we are thrilled to have him opening our preview day to members of the trade and press."
