Silverfish UK marked its 10th anniversary of trading in the bike business at CoreBike 2009 last week.
Last Saturday (January 24th) the Silverfish team commemorated its first decade by raising a toast at the Northampton trade event.
The firm has moved three times since it was set up out of the Silverfish garage, next to MD Darren Mabbott’s house, and originally the distributor dealt with just one brand – Raceface – but now exclusively distributes 11.
Silverfish’s first order was for a pair of Raceface Turbine cranks, and to mark that original order Raceface Canada’s Marcel Jakob flew over to join the Silverfish team for the celebration.
Others joining in the festivities included MTB legend Dave Turner, BMX supremo Toby Henderson, Evil Bikes’ Gabe Fox, SDG’s Chris Han, ITS’ De Haro, e thirteen’s Jonas Mikolayunas and Rocky Mountain’s Charles Russell.
