The SILCA Mattone Ultimate offers minimalist on-bike storage in a compact, performanceforward seat pack. Engineered specifically for road riders and racers who prioritize a lowprofile setup, this pack forgoes traditional stitched canvas construction in favor of RF-welded exterior panels and TPU composite fabric. Its seamless design creates a smooth exterior that mounts closer to the saddle rails while limiting water entry points.
Due to its material composition, construction, and compact size, the Mattone Ultimate weighs a featherweight 44 grams (1.55 oz). That’s a 50% reduction compared to the 90-gram original Mattone. Inside, the clamshell opening reveals a simplified 0.4L single main compartment and a flat lid pocket.
Securing the pack is the premium BOA® Li2 closure system. An upgrade over the original Mattone’s standard dial and open guide loop, the low-profile metal dial and soft TX4 lace cable make operation smooth and precise. This system provides micro-adjustable compression that tightens around the minimalist pack’s TPU body, pulling the entire pack upward to eliminate sway.
Additionally, its Hypalon-reinforced strap and water-resistant YKK zipper keep everything secure and dry in harsh weather. Complete with an integrated mounting strap for a light or camera, the Mattone Ultimate is the choice for weight-conscious cyclists seeking premium utility with less bulk.
