Cycling retailer Sigma Sports has announced it will be opening the doors to its new road, gravel and triathlon store in Wilmslow, Cheshire in late February 2026. The leading cycling and triathlon retailer, who already has three stores and an online presence, is excited to announce its next venture in the North West of England.
Located in the heart of town on Water Lane, the new store aims to become a “go-to destination for cyclists and triathletes alike,” according to the brand. It boasts 2500sq ft of retail space, featuring a fully equipped workshop with a dedicated reception and bike fit studio. Customers can book one-to-one consultations for road, gravel and triathlon bikes, with an expert team on hand to understand individual needs and recommend the ideal setup from leading specialist brands such as Specialized, Trek, Cannondale, Pinarello and FACTOR.
Customers can take advantage of a convenient reserve & collect service through the Sigma Sports website and app. In-store, they’ll find a curated selection of premium cycling, running and triathlon clothing, nutrition and accessories from leading brands such as Universal Colours, ASSOS, Maurten, Precision Hydration, Zone3, Garmin and Wahoo. Designed to support athletes at every level, the store provides all the essentials – and more – whilst complementing existing local businesses.
Sigma Sports, Wilmslow, plans to open seven days a week. It aims to become a hub for the local cycling community, hosting monthly group rides that start and finish at the store, building on the success of similar events at its other locations. As well as offering visitors to Wilmslow a premium experience, focused entirely on the enjoyment and benefits that cycling and triathlon bring, the new store will provide the local community with new job opportunities.
