Shokz has launched OpenRun Pro, new bone-conduction sport headphones that will ‘redefine open-ear listening’.
Specifically designed for sport, the OpenRun Pro showcases improved tech including enhanced bass, a ten-hour battery life, and a quick charge feature.
Unlike traditional over-ear headphones, bone-conduction technology generates mini vibrations that travel through the cheekbones of the wearer, from transducers placed in front of the ears. The vibrations go directly to the inner ears and bypass the eardrums.
Surrounding noise such as traffic, pedestrians, cyclists and runners can be heard as normal, whilst allowing the wearer to listen to music and take calls.
Improved sound quality
The new sport headphones feature the latest ninth generation bone conduction technology with two added bass enhancers. With TurboPitch technology, Shokz said they ‘generate the best sound quality of bone conduction earphones ever’.
Longer battery life
Long-lasting power, with up to ten days standby and ten-hour battery life. A five-minute quick charge provides 1.5 hours of usage. A stable wireless connection is provided by Bluetooth V5.1 and dual noise-cancelling technology provides privacy for music and calls during work-outs.
Comfortable wearing and secure fit
With a lightweight, 29g ergonomic design, OpenRun Pro will stay in place even for intense workouts, said the brand. Its flexible titanium band fits every head shape and size to provide a comfortable, reliable fit. IP55 waterproof rating protects the Bluetooth headphones from sweat, splashes and raindrops, and a two-year hassle-free warranty gives extra peace of mind. OpenRun Bluetooth headphones don’t go in the ear canal or cover the ears.
Intuitive controls
The new OpenRun Pro features an enlarged button for easier controls, making it simple to play/pause music, adjust the volume, answer calls or activate voice assistants.
