Shimano's has released its consolidated financials for fiscal 2004. The company made an after-tax profit of 143m Euros, a sizeable increase over the 90m Euros made in 2003 and the 60m Euros made in 2002.

Shimano had sales of 1.25bn Euros in 2004, a jump from the 1.06bn Euros reported in 2003.

Bike accessory sales accounted for 955m Euros, fishing tackle sales accounted for 275m Euros. In 2003 this split had been 786m Euros and 257m Euros respectively.
