Shift Active Media has welcomed four new members to its expanding team.

The cycling marketing services business has hired Matt Martin as research director. With nearly 15 years experience of consumer research and insights, Martin joins Shift from Hall & Partners (Omnicom) where he led teams working on global brand and communications research projects with clients including UEFA, Zurich Insurance and British Airways.
His previous roles have seen him working for Conquest and Millward Brown (Kantar) across a broad range of projects, from brand positioning and tracking, concept testing and creative development.
Shift has also added to its media team with the appointment of Matt Newton. Newton started his media career working with brands including Ford and Kelloggs, gradually transitioning into consulting, and working with independent media agencies across broadcast and performance digital media. Outside of Shift, Newton is an avid cyclist and is a British Cycling Ride Leader. He will be leading on the Look, Corima and Zwift accounts.
Additionally, Shift has secured two new account managers: Lucy Rickett and Jacob Stuckes, working across several accounts between them, including Rapha and Brompton.
Rickett joins Shift from a creative agency background. Having begun her career working with the likes of British Airways, she made her move into the sports industry at Matta London. Whilst living in Paris after the effects of the pandemic on sport, Rickett worked across the global Garnier account. During this time, Rickett discovered Shift and has since made her return to the sports industry.
Stuckes also joins Shift with sports marketing experience, formerly working with the likes of Evans Cycles before more recently working for an innovative, fast-growing social media agency. A keen cyclist, Stuckes is a mountain biker who’s recently taken up road cycling.
Wayne Brown, CEO at Shift Active Media, said: “It’s great to be able to attract talent like Matt, Matt, Lucy and Jacob. They all saw the opportunity to combine their impressive marketing expertise with their passion for all things bikes.
“In Matt Martin, we have further underlined our commitment to leading the way – when it comes to offering the bike industry world-class research and insight.”
