She’s Electric, the inspiring national e-bike campaign from Loud Mobility, is a national campaign helping more people – particularly women – discover the joy of e-cycling, and is bringing two more free events to Gloucestershire this September.

Taking place at Gloucester Quays, on Saturday 13th September, followed by a second event at Montpellier Gardens, Cheltenham, on Saturday 27th September, the She’s Electric events are designed to be fun, free, family-friendly community days with the chance to try out a wide range of e-cycles, e-cargo bikes, and e-scooters too.

The events focus on giving attendees the opportunity to gain confidence, get hands-on support, and experience the joy of electric cycling for transport.

On the day, there’ll be friendly cycle coaches, local cycling retailers, and community groups on hand, plus activities to keep children entertained.

Event focus

Designed to empower and enable more women to use e-bikes and e-cargo bikes for everyday journeys, the events – open to everyone – aim to help more people feel confident, safe, and supported in choosing active, sustainable travel for everyday journeys.

Both events are free to attend, with tickets are available online.

In partnership with Gloucestershire County Council’s Think Travel Team, Loud Mobility have tailored its She’s Electric Campaign for Gloucestershire – delivering a series of free, family-friendly events across the county.

The two upcoming events follow on from a successful launch event in Churchdown, which saw 30+ participants take free and fun test rides, many trying an e-cycle for the first time. Participants came from a broad range of backgrounds, with the event attended by students, parents, carers, job seekers, and retirees.

A national campaign with local focus

The upcoming events will be the seventh and eights She’s Electric events to take place across the UK since the campaign launched in 2024, and the campaign’s second local authority partnership.

To date, the campaign has already reached tens of thousands of women across the country with the encouragement and opportunity to benefit from this new mode of transport.
