Girona-based Megamo has launched the 2026 edition of its climbing bike, the Raise, with the new edition also sporting what the brand calls “comfortable geometry for long distances.”
Designed for today’s market, the Raise “seeks to combine lightness, stiffness, and comfort”, with a carbon frame – available this year in both SL and SLR versions – and its integrated handlebar, “delivering a modern and aerodynamic look”.
For 2026 the brand has introduced two carbon options, enabling retailers and customers alike to choose between “top-tier SLR for maximum stiffness and minimal weight, or SL for more accessible performance.”
SLR Carbon – designed for maximum efficiency
The Raise 2026 frame with SLR carbon has been engineered and constructed to gain mazimum benefit from the use of high-modulus fibres – “lightness, stiffness, and responsiveness with every pedal stroke.”
Megamo points out that, “thanks to its strategic layup, SLR carbon optimises stiffness in key areas such as the bottom bracket and down tube, improving power transfer and climbing efficiency without sacrificing comfort or vibration absorption on long rides.”
Those familiar with the Raise will spot that the MY 26 bike continues to use of the refined MY25 geometry.
Clean aesthetics
The Raise 2026 sports a fully internal cable routing, along with an integrated carbon cockpit, along with an aero seatpost design – all combined with a focus on modern form and function.
At launch, the brand points out that the integrated carbon cockpit “reduces weight and increases stiffness for more precise, responsive handling”. With a reach of 81 mm, a drop of 130 mm, and a 10.5° stem angle, the one piece bar stem has been designed to offer an efficient and comfortable position tailored to every size.
As a package, the Raise features an “ergonomic design and completely hidden cabling reinforce a clean, aerodynamic look that elevates the riding experience.”
Available in 5 premium colorways, from bold Garnet to understated Silver Ash.
