Santini partners with Boels-Dolmans cycling team

Santini has announced that it will act as the technical partner of prestigious Dutch cycling team Boels-Dolmans for 2017.

The Italian cycle clothing manufacturer will provide technical clothing for the Women’s UCI team, including garments for both racing and training.

Initial discussions between the team and Santini took place in 2016, when the brand supplied the leader jersey for Lizzie Armistead during the Women’s World Tour.

“It’s extremely important for us to be able to count on one of the strongest teams in the Women’s World Tour,” said Santini marketing manager Paola Santini. “It will help us to develop and test our women’s products. We believe very strongly in the development of women’s cycling”.

“We have found a fantastic new partner in Santini, which is also the clothing supplier to the UCI. Santini’s products and service are rooted in its passion for the sport. We’re very pleased to work with them for the next two seasons,” said Boels Rental marketing manager Yvo Hoppers.

The team, which was founded in 2012, is comprised of 11 athletes. Boels-Dolmans has won 41 race over the last four years and became the number one ranked team by the end of the 2016 season.
