RockShox to act as partner for 2017 UCI Mountain Bike Championships

RockShox will be an official event partner with the 2017 UCI World Mountain Bike Championships, which is being held in Cairns, Australia.

The American suspension manufacturer will provide event support for volunteers and officials, as well as areas on and around the course.

“We are very proud to be an event partner for the Cairns World Championships,” said RockShox sales manager Rob Eva. “RockShox has played a big part in Cairns since the ’96 Worlds, when Thomas Frischknect took the XC gold medal on a special edition gold Judy and Nicolas Vouilloz rode a BoXXer to his second of seven Elite Worlds wins. We look forward to playing an important role in bringing a successful event to Cairns this year.”

The 2017 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships starts Thursday, August 24th and finishes Sunday, September 10th.
