Redshift Sports has launched a crowdfunding campaign for a road-specific suspension seat-post. The ShockStop seat-post is "equally suited for an epic gravel adventure or just dealing with potholes on your daily commute," says the Philadelphia-based company which, in 2015, introduced its ShockStop stem.
A Kickstarter campaign to fund the 35mm-travel seat-post went live earlier today, hoping to raise in excess of £14,555.
The ShockStop seat-post suspends the rider’s body, isolating them from the imperfections of the road and trail, says a statement from Redshift. "Travel and suspension kinematics were optimised to provide a plush, bottomless feel," continues the statement.
