Propel Bikes adopts mobile bike servicing

Propel Bikes has closed its store in Uckfield, and will now operate as an appointment based, mobile bike servicing, upgrade and repair service.

Its website said: “Propel Bikes Mobile Bike Servicing offers conveniences and efficiencies unmatched by the traditional bike shop model. Customers no longer have to load and unload to and from a traditional bike shop.

“Now the bike shop comes to you, at a time and place of your choosing! In many cases where appropriate, customers will be able to ride immediately after their scheduled service.”

Appointments can be scheduled online or over the phone, and services can either be collected and taken to Propel’s workshop in Newick to be completed, or carried out onsite at the customer’s home or workplace.

Service will cover East Sussex with free collect and return/call-out for Silver, Gold or Platinum service packages within ten miles of Newick.
