Team management cycling game hits shelves

Pro Cycling Manager 2011 out today

PC game Pro Cycling Manager 2011 hits shelves in the UK today, having been released across the rest of Europe yesterday.

Based around the Tour de France, the game puts the player in the position of a team manager in charge of everything from forming a team, right down to race tactics. No word yet on whether sneaking UCI uncompliant kit through to the start line features.

Developed by Cyanide Studio, gamers are also in charge of negotiating sponsors, handling finances. From your cyclist’s training to negotiation of their contracts, ythe player has all the cards in hand to lead a fantasy team.

Races are more realistic-looking than ever, thanks to the improved 3D engine. New cyclist models have been designed, reflecting the real-life stature and riding style of each competitor. The environments boast more varied scenery, landscapes, and tracks than ever before too.
