Prestacycle has announced a new distribution partner in Germany, Velowork.
Velowork will take care of retail sales both via stores and direct-to-consumer in the German speaking countries of Austria, Switzerland and Germany primarily through the new prestacycle.de website.
This is part of the brand’s continued efforts to increase the global presence of the brand after its recent expansion in the UK.
Richard Eakins, Prestacycle’s European brand manager based in the UK, commented: “Having working with Stefan in the past it’s great to have him on board with Prestacycle.
“The expansion in the UK is going incredibly well and we are looking forward to seeing the same growth in central European countries.”
Founded in 2006 by David Finlayson, a life-long cyclist in a family of Scottish engineers, Prestacycle started from a desire for a cycling tool that did not exist.
From this need, the company’s first tool, the Prestaflator was born.
Since then, the company focus has been singular to creating unique new products that better suit existing needs.
Now, Prestacycle offers a range of products including: inflation, hand and torque tools, bike care, hex tool bits, cassettes, accessories and a range or PrestaWear.
Stefan Anton, the owner of Velowork, added: “I’m thrilled to introduce the renowned brand Prestacycle to the DACH region and France.
“The brand has already gained recognition in the US and through social media, and it’s known as the recent tool supplier for the Ineos Grenadiers Pro Team. I’m confident that both dealers and customers will appreciate the latest updates to our product line.”
