Rejecting heavily branded wear, the range features bold classic designs

Peloton launches casual cycle clothing line

As spotted in the halls of this year’s Cycle Show, Peloton is a brand new cycle clothing brand coming to market.

Founded in July 2014 by two recreational cyclists, the firm told BikeBiz it was looking to hit the relatively untapped middle ground between cyclewear that isn’t heavily branded, sporting bold classic designs and performance fabrics.

The range is pitched at the discerning tourer, commuter and enthusiast with short-sleeved jerseys for me and women in the as yet-small range.

Founder Richard said: “Having struggled to find high quality, technical cycling jerseys which were casually styled, our vision at Peloton was to develop a range of technically superb cycling wear which would be equally suitable for the weekend cyclosportive as it would for sitting in the pub on a sunny afternoon following a picturesque country bike ride. All Peloton garments feature cutting edge performance fabrics, bold colours and practical design features.”

The jerseys sport a flattering slim fit, created using non-fade Italian ink and featuring 100% BioActive Coolmax fabric to wick moisture away from the body. Other features include flat-lock seams, a full length zip, tall collar, two strategically placed zip pockets ensure you will never worry about losing your keys and valuables. The two larger pockets are within easy reach and will comfortably carry essentials like inner tubes.

The firm has two new ladies jerseys arriving shortly and hinted to BikeBiz about future harlequin style jerseys. Peloton is also in the early stages of expanding to include cycling shorts, socks and cycling caps.

Dealers are being sought to stock the range – find out more via contactus@pelotoncycleclothing.co.uk or at www.pelotoncycleclothing.co.uk
