Pearson Cycles has introduced a new Lifetime Warranty programme covering its framesets, alongside a warranty transferable for five years after the original purchase date to new owners, designed to extend support beyond the original owner and strengthen long-term resale value.
The policy applies to all new-brand Pearson framesets (frame and fork) and offers lifetime coverage for the original owner against manufacturing defects under normal use. In a move aimed at following the growing second-hand market, the warranty can also be transferred to subsequent owners for up to five years from the original purchase date.
The brand says this programme places Pearson among a small number of brands offering lifetime cover and a defined transfer window, reflecting a broadening shift towards long-term ownership and product durability within the premium bike segment.
“Our goal is simple,” says Pearson CEO Scott Davies, “We don’t just build bikes, we stand behind them. This policy goes beyond a standard policy, by offering lifetime, it aligns with the delivery of Pearson as a premium brand, going above many other major brands. With the aim to support riders from their very first ride, throughout years of ownership, and even extending value into the second-hand market. It gives riders confidence not only in their initial purchase, but in the long-term value of the bike as the brand grows.
The introduction of transferability is intended to support residual values and increase confidence in pre-owned Pearson bikes, an area of growing importance as the secondary market continues to expand.”
In addition to frameset coverage, the Pearson-branded finishing kit – including handlebar, stem and seatpost – is covered by a two-year warranty, while third-party components remain subject to their respective manufacturer policies, which include lifetime with ERE Research Wheels. Paint is covered for two years.
The policy also reinforces their structured crash replacement programme, offering support in cases where damage falls outside standard warranty conditions.
Key Details:
- Frameset (frame and fork): Lifetime warranty for the original owner
- Transferability: Up to a 5-year warranty from the original purchase date for subsequent owners.
- Paint: 2-year warranty
- Pearson components (bar, stem, seatpost): 2-year warranty
- Third-party components: covered by individual manufacturers
- Crash replacement: dedicated programme available
The policy will be applied retrospectively to all new-brand Pearson bikes purchased since June 2025, with updated coverage visible via the brand’s “Bike Garage” hub.
New customers must register their bike within 60 days of purchase to activate the lifetime warranty. Bikes not registered within this period default to a two-year warranty.

Pearson Cycles is one of the world’s oldest bicycle brands, operating at the premium end of the market, with an emphasis on durability, rider support and long-term ownership. Its offering is underpinned by a bike fit-led approach, supported by a £200 cashback incentive, hand-delivery within the UK, and now a lifetime warranty programme.
