Lots of brands have come together to big up Brooks' birthday celebrations

Pashley, Moulton & Condor to celebrate Brooks’ 150th anniversary

Brooks England has enlisted a starry line-up of cycle brands to help it celebrate its 150th anniversary for its ‘Dashing Bikes’ project.

Condor, Dario Pegoretti, Pashle, Moulton, belt drive specialist Schindelhauer, Canyon, Brompton, Achielle of Belgium, Skeppshult of Sweden, Pelago of Finland, Toyko Bike of Japan, Moustache e-bike from France and Salsa have all got involved in the project, which is ‘copper’ themed, touching on the fact the material has been integral to Brooks over the century-plus of its existence.

A statement from the firm said: "It remains to be seen how each of the builders will interpret this theme, but Brooks is busy preparing special saddles and accessories to complement the special paint schemes, head badges, and other details on the finishing kit of each bike."

Each model will be featured in a rotating monthly display at the flagship B1866 store in Covent Garden throughout the remainder of 2016, the first event being held 17 March with the display of the Brompton edition.
