Irish firm Osborne Cycles is set to bring the likes of Bentini, Vercelli, Castello and Secura bike brands to the UK cycle market.
The firm, which is now seeking dealers on the UK mainland, has been established in Ireland since 1973 and first traded as a motor sports and accessory business. Over the years it has evolved into one of Ireland’s best known bicycle and cycle accessory wholesale distributors – in 2000 the motor company part of the business was sold. Now the firm concentrates solely on the development and distribution of its own registered brand of bicycles.
Osborne Cycles told BikeBiz: "We have been fortunate enough to attract the help of a Government Agency called "Invest NI" who can provide a mix of help and support in exporting to new markets, With their help we are proposing to launch our new unique Brands into the GB mainland.
"Our approach will be to IBDs only, who we believe will benefit greatly from our unique new brands that have not been heavily discounted by the multiples or large internet organisations."
Osborne Cycles is a wholly owned trading style of Motor & Sport Ltd.

Retail price points on road bikes start from £216.99 through to £862.99. Large stocks are held in Osborne’s 60,000 sq ft facility and can shipped into any part of UK Mainland on a daily basis.
