All the tools to manage your account now found in one place

Orbea B2B portal upgraded

Orbea has gone live with the first of "two significant developments" to make its dealer’s lives easier – a totally revamped B2B platform.

Accessible through the main orbea.com website, the B2B platform brings together all the tools that dealers will need to manage their supply, accounts, support and technical training from Orbea.

"This is a significant step forward in Orbea’s progress in the UK and Irish marketplace,’ says Damian Hackett, head of marketing and sales for Orbea in the UK and Ireland. ‘Our dealers have consistently asked for better access to information and better quality of information, and now they have it. In the new portal, they can see delivery dates of every model, size and colour, as well as re-stock dates for anything that has been temporarily sold-out.

"Previously if a product was not in stock, dealers were forced to call their local area manager to check on possible restock times. The area manager in turn would have to place a call or email to Spain to check and by the time the information had made it to the dealer, the customer may have decided for another brand. With this sales tool now at our disposal, the information will be available immediately, and the order can be placed immediately, with a delivery date confirmed on the spot."

Dealers will stop using their existing B2B login credentials once they have self-migrated to the new Dealer Area, using a new registered email address and personal password to gain access.

The Orbea Dealer Area is intended to be used as a sales tool, but will also allow dealers to gain immediate access to support features such as warranty registration and claims; product training and maintenance guides; Orbea videos, images and marketing content as well as financial information, invoices and statements.

Hackett added: "The UK market demands top quality service from suppliers in the cycle industry, and our challenge is to ensure we are top of the league table when it comes to fulfilling that demand. When you then add in other factors such as our continuity of supply, competitive pricing, generous dealer margins and quality of our product, we are laying the foundations for strong growth in the UK and Irish markets."
