Online sales bring profit back to Go Outdoors

An online sales jump of 41 per cent over a year has helped Go Outdoors return to profit, reports Retail Week.

In the year to January 27th, the retailer saw pre-tax profit hit £1.5m, contrasting with last year’s 2.6m loss. EBITDA rose 10.6 per cent to £9.4m.

Go Outdoors has recently brought in senior staff from Halfords and Wiggle.

Chris Matthews is now installed as its new CEO and three new stores – in Milton Keynes, Scunthorpe and Kidderminster – opened this year.
