Atherton Racing and ODI have partnered for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, with the Continental Atherton Race Team to run ODI grips at all World Cup races.
“ODI lives by its claim to be the world leader in grip technology so when we were looking for grips for the 2021 and 2022 seasons it was obviously our first choice of partner,” said Gee Atherton. “In fact, I used Longnecks on my BMX when I was young! For 2021 the race team are using the Longneck V2 lock-on grips and they’re fantastic – they are super secure and have great damping properties without being too bulky.”
ODI brand manager Colby Young added: “We are extremely excited to be partnering with the Continental Atherton Race Team for the upcoming seasons. The Atherton family are among of the most talented and influential riders in the world and we look forward to the opportunity to be a key element in their efforts to continually push the limits of the sport.”
