oBike hits 1.6 million kilometres in Europe

New data revealed by dockless bike sharing operator oBike shows that its riders covered a total of 1.6 million kilometres across Europe since the company’s start in the continent. This equates to a total of 554942 kilograms in saved carbon emissions.

oBike, which was founded in Singapore, first entered The Netherlands in July 2017; the company now operates in 12 countries and 25 cities in Europe.

oBike riders spend an average of ten to 14 minutes per trip according to the analysis. From the start in Europe, the total amount of minutes spent on an oBike is 752680399 – which is equivalent to 10052 weeks.
