O2C has announced its official launch, introducing a new performance footwear brand “engineered from the ground up around human biomechanics, elite competition, and a singular belief: progress comes from obsession”.

“At O2C, everything starts with the foot — not fashion, not trends,” said Steven Nemeth, Founder of O2C. “I’ve spent nearly two decades obsessing over how the foot actually works under load. O2C is the distillation of that work: uncompromising, anatomical, and relentlessly performance-driven.”

The eagle-eyed among you will have spotted a familiar name here, one with extensive experience in cycling performance footwear.

O2C is founded on more than 17 years of elite performance footwear development, including pioneering work in creating anatomically correct cycling shoes and extensive success across Olympic Games, World Championships, Grand Tours, Classics, MTB, BMX, and track cycling. Shoes developed under this philosophy have been worn in over a third of all Olympic track cycling medals across the last five Games — a legacy that underpins the philosophy of O2C.

Launching with three flagship Road cycling models — Axis RK1, Axis RS1, Vector RC1 and the triathlon model Vector RT2 — O2C enters the market with a performance-focused platform designed for riders who demand absolute efficiency, control, and fit. Performance Gravel and Aero models will be launching in Spring 2026.

The Launch Line-Up

· Axis RS1 — The Axis RS1 fuses biomechanical precision with racing intent, delivering the ultimate balance of power, comfort, and control. At its core lies O2C’s all-new Unidirectional Carbon Base, engineered for maximum stiffness, minimal energy loss, and a naturally aligned pedalling motion.

· Axis RK1 — When the road tilts upward and every gram counts, the O2C Axis RK1 answers with unmatched responsiveness and anatomical precision. Designed for elite riders who thrive on elevation, the RK1 delivers maximum power transfer in an ultra-light, hyper-efficient platform — built for climbing, yet uncompromising in control and stability.

· Vector RC1 — The Vector RC1 brings the core engineering of O2C Cycling to a wider audience — combining anatomical precision with everyday race performance. Balanced between performance and accessibility, the Vector RC1 embodies O2C’s commitment to delivering real race efficiency to riders progressing toward elite performance.

Designed to maintain optimal foot alignment under sustained load, the RT2 reduces energy loss during long, high-output efforts while supporting a smooth, repeatable pedalling motion — helping athletes ride stronger, conserve energy, and make gains during the ride.

Proprietary design: Obsessed with performance

Each model is built on O2C’s proprietary anatomical last and biomechanical design philosophy, prioritising alignment, stability, and energy efficiency across every pedal stroke.

The O2C name reflects the brand’s core belief: Obsess to Compete. From heel cup geometry to last construction and sole architecture, every detail exists to eliminate inefficiency and unlock performance gains where they matter most.

O2C shoes are developed for riders that seek performance, but engineered to deliver tangible benefits to every rider — from reduced energy loss and improved comfort to greater control and confidence under load.

The Axis RK1, Axis RS1, Vector RC1 and Vector RT2 will be available from launch via online pre-order and through selected retail partners from March 2026. For more information, contact info@o2c-cycling.com, visit the O2C website or follow @O2C-cycling on instagram.
