Numbers game at Harrogate show

There were 307 people at last night’s BA bash. In the show itself there were 782 visitors.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that this is, to all intents and purposes, a northern trade show, with only a minority of show visitors hailing from anywhere south of Birmingham.

Despite the lack of numbers, many exhibitors are reporting the show visitors they did get were quality ones. Hotwheels is launching new Mongoose bikes and reported brisk trade; the own-label road bikes from custom paint-job specialist Autostrada Engineering received a lot of interest (despite being in Hall M where other exhibitors have complained of lack of traffic) and Powabyke had a steady stream of visitors testing their leccy bikes on the test track.
