Beech underpants, bend into shape mudguards, new Garmins and much more

New Products: Things you may have missed in the show frenzy

WIT Industries Fendor Bendor
Seeking UK distributor: +31(0)614432645

The Fendor-Bendor 3 is, like its predecessor, designed and produced in the Netherlands and made from 100 per cent recycled and recyclable plastics.
Unlike others on the market, this simple design is supplied in a simple-to-bend-into-shape unit, that when not in use folds into thirds and stashes away in a bag pocket nicely. A Velcro strap attaches to the seat tube of your bike, while pre-punched cut outs allow for easy adjustment around brake calipers if needed. The 60-gram guard is compatible with road, singlespeed and mountain bikes. The only catch is the guard will not work on monostay frames.

the road.
Claiming to be the only UK-designed and insurance-approved cameras, the Roadhawk product weighs only 32 grams and will record up to eight hours onto its 32GB card. A single charge of the li-polymer battery will provide 90 minutes of continuous recording at 30 frames per second (in 720p).
Currently the cameras are available from Evans Cycles, though RoadHawk are looking for independent retail stockists across the UK and all sales enquiries should be directed to RoadHawk sales manager Ed Mayne.

Whyte 29er wheelset
ATB Sales: 01424 753566

ATB Sales has just taken delivery of an in-house designed Whyte carbon 29er wheelset, that is both Maxle and Shimano E-thru axle compatible.
Rolling on cartridge bearing hubs, laced to a high modulus UD rim with 1K outer ply, Whyte decided to pursue the production of its own larger wheelset feeling that most complete 29er bikes are let down in spec largely by the wheels. The High Modulus, fine mesh rims are resistant to high impact stone chips that can cause surface cracks – Whyte says the final layer acts as a ‘blast skin’.
The wheels are a 28 hole front and 32 Hole rear three Cross spoke build.
DT Swiss Competition Double spokes with alloy nipples finish the package, which will retail for £999 for the XT skewer set, while the standard set will come in at £949. Whyte Nylon rim strip designed specifically for these rims are included.

Paul Smith Santini collection
Fisher Outdoor Leisure: 01727 798345

Sir Paul Smith has revealed the four jerseys he has designed for this year’s Giro d’Italia.
The fashion designer and cycle enthusiast got involved after an informal meeting with race organiser RCS Sport during the 2011 Giro.
Sir Smith explained: “Having been a huge cycling enthusiast and follower of the major tours and classics for many years, it’s an absolute privilege to be asked to design the four jerseys for the Giro d’Italia. I hope that the simple approach that I’ve made is acceptable to all; putting red piping with the pink, cleaning all of the jerseys up to keep them as simple as possible.”
Each Giro d’Italia official jersey, produced for the 17th consecutive year by Santini, bears a little drawing of a cyclist by Smith and his iconic stripes on the left sleeves. The inside of the collar of the Maglia Rosa also bears the signature of the late Fiorenzo Magni as a tribute to the three times Giro winner who died last year.
