Vince Langdon-Morris has been appointed the new managing director at Re~Cycle. Merlin Matthews, the charity’s founder, has taken an 18-month sabbatical.
“I’ve just completed my first trip to Africa with Re~Cycle to see some of the amazing work we do in Ghana,” said Langdon-Morris.
“I feel privileged and incredibly excited to be taking up the role of managing director. I have spent many years living in Sub-Saharan African Countries, and I’ve seen first hand what impact a single bike can make for a family living there.”
Langdon-Morris has a background in financial management later graduating into international development, specialising in sustainable economic growth, agriculture and emergency response programming in a number of developing countries.
Re~Cycle – which was founded in 1997 – has sent over 8,000 bikes to Africa so far this year.
