Paul Stewart and Russ Masters set up premium line portfolio

New Eurobike distribution outfit formed

Paul Stewart, formerly of Moore Large, has announced plans to have a new distribution company up and running from April 3rd.

Alongside Russ Masters, who takes on the role of director of sales, the pair have secured a number of high-end lines already, including:

Proflex

Proflex bicycles was born in the nineties and were the first brand to introduce competition full suspension bicycles creating a revolution in the world of two wheels. As a result passionate cyclists who have been riding for many years recall Proflex as an innovative ground breaking brand. During its absence from the UK market the development has continued apace and the introduction of ICP (Instant Centre Path) technology has been acknowledged by numerous specialised media as one of the best suspension systems in the market. The development and engineering team head by Mark Lansaart in Seattle continues to focus on the high quality standards, adventurous spirit and innovative design that define Proflex bicycles.

Casco Helmets

Casco Helmets gained fame in the UK with its widespread use by the victorious British Track team. Although the competition level of product is extensive including road, track and off-road, Casco also supplies children’s and commuter helmets with unique features setting them apart from other helmet brands. New for 2009 is an electric bike specific helmet that has already proved to be an enormous success on the continent.

American Classic

American Classic, another brand that has been absent from the UK for some years, will be one of the most exciting addition to the premium wheel and hub market for years. The advanced patented technology in the rims, hubs and wheel sets is highly respected.

Moda

Stewart is especially excited about the final link in the chain, a home grown premium bike brand built in the UK. The brand, Moda, utilises the very best components from around the world and will be individually built by expert bike mechanics.

Stewart said on the launch of Eurobike Ltd: “I have been particularly keen to obtain agencies that will be either new to the market or have been absent for some time, I insisted on a premium level product with genuine in house development facilities”

Eurobike will start trading from tomorrow. Casco helmets and Proflex bicycles will be available from then. American Classic will be here in May and the 2010 Moda model line will be available from September. Details can be found on the new distributor’s website www.eurobike.uk.com. IBDs are now sought to carry the brands.
