Muc-Off debuts products from Athlete Performance range

Cycling lubricant and maintenance specialist Muc-Off has expanded into personal grooming products with the launch of a new luxury shaving cream and brush set.

Designed with cyclists in mind, the personal grooming products are the result of over 18 months of product development.

The new shaving cream contains tsubaki oil, which the brand says helps to hydrate skin and repair any damage caused by riding in extreme weather conditions.

The brand also claims that a unique manufacturing technique, in which air is folded into the cream to achieve a super-thick density, means that the lather will stay on the skin even if completely submerged in water.

The Machined Shaving Brush, which is designed to compliment the new cream, features synthetic fibres that simulate the feeling of natural silvertip badger hair.

"Our fans have one defining trait; they push themselves to the limit in their chosen sport. That’s why it’s so important that they take good care of their bodies and equipment – so they can work harder, move faster, get stronger,” commented Muc-Off managing director Alex Trimnell.

“This mindset has guided the company since we opened our doors, and it has led us to develop a completely new range of body care products for the athlete wanting to maximise their performance.”

The Athlete Performance range encompasses several amino-based creams and balms that can be used by riders of any discipline to help maintain their skin. Muc-Off says that 2017 will see the addition of many new products to the line including a moisturiser with SPF15, massage oil and an aftershave balm.

The range in available in the UK and Europe; for more information on Muc-Off, visit the brand website here.
