Memory Map has announced that its software is to be downloadable via Apple’s iPhone App store shortly.
The iPhone app will carry maps from the firm’s current range, including Ordnance Survey’s Explorer 1:25,000 and Landranger 1:50,000 maps, CAA and marine charts and all of its worldwide mapping.
The downloadable software is also capable of linking to the iPhone’s GPS system to give real time positioning. Trail routes and tracks will be downloadable too.
Prices and the date at which the application will go live are yet to be announced, though Memory Map’s website is worth keeping an eye on for developments.
