Madison has announced that it is to distribute Jimmy’s Iced Coffee to its extensive retail network within the UK and Ireland.
Jimmy’s Iced Coffee is a British brand, made with British milk and no artificial ingredients and has grown substantially since it was founded in 2010.
In 2015 the iced coffee market in the UK was worth £50 million and is projected to grow to £150 million by 2019. The partnership with Madison will be a case of taking that brand awareness and translating into getting stocked in a variety of retailers within Madison’s extensive network.
Jim Cregan, founder of Jimmy’s Iced Coffee said: “We are stoked to be working with Madison as it’s a great fit for us. We love being sold in places that work well for our drinkers, whether it’s a petrol station or a convenience store. Having a link into cycling and being a part of Madison’s efforts to bring a ‘cafe style’ life into stores is something really exciting to be a part of.”
The Jimmy’s Iced Coffee range is made up of three products, the Skinny, Mocha and Original. All come in cartons of 330 ml and have an SRP of £1.99. The company was started by Dorset-born Jim back in 2010 after spending time in Australia and seeing a gap in the UK market.
Oliver Collins, senior brand manager at Madison, said: “We are delighted to be working with Jimmy’s Iced Coffee to help them continue their growth. We’re seeing a growth in the relationship between Coffee and cyclists, with more and more retailers offering Café spaces in stores. On top of this Jimmy’s has positioned itself with similar values and goals as our retailers and customers who clearly have a passion for the outdoors. We also already both sponsor Blake Samson – so it really did make sense to team up on this one. We’re really looking forward to a great summer and the future ahead.”
Madison will begin distributing Jimmy’s Iced Coffee in the UK and Ireland immediately. If you have a stocking enquiry, please get in touch with your local sales agent or visit www.madisonb2b.co.uk.
