MAAP has expanded its Apex winter collection with the launch of the Apex Downpour Jacket, Deep Winter Glove 2.0, Winter Toe Covers and Winter Overshoes, alongside new seasonal colourways for its Apex Aeon range.
Apex Downpour Jacket
The new Apex Downpour Jacket leads the collection and is designed for prolonged riding in wet conditions. According to MAAP, it combines waterproof protection with breathability and comfort.
The jacket uses a three-layer outer shell with a 15,000mm waterproof rating, fully taped internal seams and a PFAS-free durable water-repellent coating.
Integrated sleeve zips allow riders to adjust ventilation while moving. An internal shield skirt extends below the conventional drop-tail, while a lightweight hem gripper helps seal the jacket against the jersey and limit road spray.
The Downpour Jacket uses MAAP’s endurance-focused Core fit, with room for layering in cold conditions.
Deep Winter Glove 2.0
The Apex Deep Winter Glove 2.0 is intended for riding below 5°C and has been redesigned to reduce bulk while retaining handlebar feel.
The glove combines an anatomical thumb seam and AX Suede non-slip palm with PrimaLoft® Gold insulation featuring AeroGel technology on the back of the hand. An internal Hipora insert is designed to block wind and water while allowing heat to escape.
A softer nylon cuff with an adjustable Velcro closure is designed to sit beneath a long-sleeve jersey cuff, while the fingertips are touchscreen compatible.
Winter accessories
The new Apex Winter Toe Cover is designed for cold and damp conditions where a full overshoe is not required. It uses 2mm neoprene on the upper and 3mm on the lower, with zonal toe insulation and reinforced heel and toe panels.
The Apex Winter Overshoe provides full coverage for colder, wetter rides. Its zipperless design uses a Velcro underfoot closure, while 2mm neoprene covers the cuff, ankle and upper foot and 3mm neoprene is used on the lower section. Reflective branding is included for visibility in low-light conditions.
Apex Aeon colourways
MAAP has also updated its endurance-focused Apex Aeon apparel range with four seasonal colourways: Black/White, Lavender Grey, Espresso and Deep Cobalt. The range includes jerseys and bib shorts designed around comfort and breathability for longer rides.
