Lyon Equipment has announced the appointment of Steve Larking as Assistant Marketing Manager, with responsibility for driving marketing across the company’s growing Cycle division.

Steve brings extensive marketing and industry experience, having worked with leading brands during his time at ZyroFisher and Hotlines Europe, as well as a previous spell with Lyon Equipment, where he focused on marketing for the Work & Rescue division. An accomplished rider himself, Steve recently secured a podium finish at Enduro2 in Méribel and has a passion for any off-road cycling, from mountain biking and gravel riding to bikepacking.
I’m excited to rejoin Lyon and work with a team I know to be genuine outdoor enthusiasts, at an employee-owned company. It’s great to be part of a business full of people who live and breathe the products and brands we represent and share a passion for growing our presence in the UK market.
I’ll be diving straight in at Thrive in Ballater next weekend, promoting ORTLIEB and Industry Nine products, engaging directly with riders, and hopefully sneaking in a ride myself – Steve Larking
