Innovation from the country showcased at the shopping destination

London’s Westfield hosts Taiwanese bike exhibition

Giant’s TCR Advanced, Tern’s Verge Duo and Pacific Cycles’ IF Mode were among the bikes on display at a special exhibition at London’s Westfield Shopping Centre last week.

All the bikes, plus other Taiwan-made electronics, fitness devices and more, have won Taiwan Excellency Awards, showcased to boost awareness of Taiwanese innovation in the UK.

Other products featured included Airace’s two-in-one Co2 mini pump, Taya Chain’s Deca-101 for ten-speed derailleurs and offerings from Gigantex Composite and Tung Keng Enterprise.

“Our special ‘Experience Taiwan Excellence at Westfield London 2012’ exhibition was designed to educate and engage consumers regarding the great new sport and leisure products coming out of Taiwan and the innovative technology and design behind them,” said Taiwan Trade Centre MD Donald Lu.

"We know that the London 2012 Games have inspired the British public to get into sports, so we anticipate great enthusiasm and demand for our products."
