Provisional attendance figure for Excel supershow handed to BikeBiz

London Bike Show, Boat and Outdoors exhibitions draw 85,275

Vos Media, the organisers behing the recent London Bike Show, have this morning handed BikeBiz provisional attendance figures, which reveal 85,275 people visited the three-in-one exhibition.

Combined with the Tullet Prebon Boat Show and Outdoors Show, many exhbitors have thus far communicated with BikeBiz positive impressions taken away from the show, largely based around the varied clientelle crossing over between exhibitions.

Vos also revealed that 65 per cent of exhibitors have already rebooked for 2012, with many of them taking larger spaces. This time around the bike exhibition contained 74 exhibitors, though it is not stated whether or not some distributors bolstered this figure with multiple stands.

BikeBiz was also informed that of the returning exhibitors, many are doubling and in some cases tripling the floor space of stands in 2012. Further to this, new bike-specific exhibitors have already confirmed their attendance going forwards – more on this shortly.

The Outdoors Show had 187 stands.

For a detailed analysis of whether or not the show will sink or swim going into 2012, look out for the February print edition.
