Link My Ride, the app which enables cyclists to explore, plan and create group rides, has announced the launch of a comprehensive, in-app, ticketing solution.
Designed to simplify the event planning process, improve efficiency, and monetize the activities of event organizers all in one place, Link My Ride ticketing reaffirms its vision of being the catalyst for growing participation, engagement, and culture in cycling.
At launch, Link My Ride CEO Jacques Sauvagnargues comments: “I’m delighted to see the launch of ticketing. We are constantly gathering feedback on current and future features from our users to guide our product development, and this has been one of our most requested.
“This milestone is the result of many months of dedicated work and represents a significant step towards realizing our vision of creating a connected ecosystem for cyclists everywhere.”
A One-Stop Solution for Cycling Events

With the new Link My Ride ticketing system, event organizers and ride leaders can create and promote their cycling events, monitoring sign-ups, and driving revenue to monetize their events.
Payments will be handled seamlessly by Stripe via an online payment portal within the Link My Ride app and website.
Among the standout features of the platform are the competitive, tiered pricing structure (see below) and lightning-fast payout capability helping organizers keep more of their revenue and optimize their cash flow.
The ticketing feature also offers clear additional benefits to organizers, such as the ability to cap the number of sign-ups and registrations to adhere to the guidelines and recommendations of local federations and insurance laws.
A new check-in app enables organizers to see all of their ticketed activities and use an in-app QR code
scanner to scan attendees’ tickets and check them in digitally, speeding up sign-on and removing the need for paper spreadsheets and pens at sign-on.
Link My Ride already offers organizers the ability to require riders to sign waivers in order to join rides.
Tom Pidcock, Link My Ride Co-Founder, Olympian and World Champion (MTB XCO), expressed his enthusiasm about the new ticketing feature: “The addition of ticketing brings us one step closer to being the go-to destination for finding your next ride. It means ride organizers of all sizes no longer need to navigate multiple platforms. We think this is a game-changer!”
Three subscription tiers

Link My Ride is free to download and use for all members and this is set to continue. The current subscription model that has been available through the club portal for £20.00 a month – will be replaced by three new subscription tiers – each tailored to various business sizes and needs. The release of the new subscription model will be staggered to all accounts over the coming months with a focus on the desktop app to begin with.
Free Plan
Cost-free to use, with Link My Ride taking a 5% fee per ticket sold, plus card handling fees.
Custom card imagery is available on tickets for brand awareness, and basic sales analytics are available on ticket sales to help organizers stay on top of sign-ups and registrations in real-time.
Standard Plan
The Standard Plan will cost £31.99 per month and includes the ability to list ticketed rides and events free of charge, a reduction in the ticketing fees from 5% to 4%, card handling fees, custom card imagery on tickets, additional sales analytics and features, and 2 City Promotions in-app per month.
City Promotions enable organizers to geographically target cyclists within a 100km radius of the location of the planned event together with increased promotional tools such as spotlighting their events.
As well as offering reduced commission rates (4%), with the Standard Plan organizers will be able to unlock the ability to offer free tickets, access more detailed ticket sales analytics, and gain in-app promotion through our location-based event features.
Premium Plan
Link My Ride is working closely with its partners to tailor its premium plan around larger events and brands, which is set to be a further drop in fees with further analytics and even insurance perks.
