Maillot Jaune jersey official supplier le coq sportif has opened its first UK store in Seven Dials, Covent Garden.
The 131 year-old brand has been renewing its links with cycling lately, returning to the Tour de France as official supplier of the leader jerseys in time for the 100th edition of the world famous race. To mark the anniversary, le coq has created the limited edition ‘Centième Collection’, and a 100th edition of the Winners Jersey.
The Covent Garden store carries le coq sportif apparel, footwear and accessories for men and women, as well as limited edition ranges; including the Tour de France ‘La Grande Boucle’ range. The opening follows launches in Paris, Milan, Lille, Marseille and Barcelona – part of the brand’s strategy to open concept stores in all major European cities.
The 256.61msq retail space is situated on the corner of Earlham and Mercer Street and the retail space is expected to become the key concept store for the iconic French brand in Europe.
The brand has also launched a Harrods installation for the Tour de France.
You can find the store at 23 Earlham Street, WC2H 9LL.
