Cycling-wear brand Le Col, which is headed up by former pro cyclist Yanto Barker, has opened entries to the Le Col 100 Mile Challenge on Strava.
The challenge requires entrants to ride 100 miles in the two weeks between April 19 2018 and May 2 2018.
In addition to receiving the Le Col 100 Mile challenge badge in their Strava trophy collection, any rider who enters the challenge and completes the 100-mile distance will receive a £50 reward from Le Col.
Riders who complete the challenge of riding 100 miles in one activity will be entered into a prize draw to win £2,000 of custom kit for themselves and their friends. Le Col will help the winner design a one-off kit and manufacture it at its factory in Italy to the same specification as the Le Col Team Wiggins kit.
Le Col will also be giving kit away on Instagram every day of the challenge for riders who share their ride using #LeCol100MileChallenge.
"Increasing miles and time on the bike at this time of year is key to your fitness progression. Taking the hard work put in through the offseason and starting to intelligently implement a training plan for mid-season objectives should be a focus," exclaimed Barker.
