Hot Wheels has been appointed the UK distributor for the Kustom Kruiser line of beach cruisers. The brand is owned by Pacific Cycle which also owns the Mongoose and GT brands already distributed in the UK by Hot Wheels.

Kustom Kruisers arrive in UK

Pacific Cycle acquired a number of smaller brands when it purchased Schwinn and GT on September 11th 2001.

The Kustom Kruiser line was formerly a sub brand of GT.

"We believe the cruiser category is a growing niche market and we have excellent products with great style, design and value," said Russell Merry of Hot Wheels.

Kustom Kruiser bikes will be available from January 1st with retail prices from £229.99 to £369.99

Kustom Kruisers are marketed as throwbacks to 1950s US car customising and hot-rodding.
