2011 ranges to launch alongside Electron and Cycraguard

July’s iceBike* to debut new Ridgeback and Saracen lines

Madison has revealed that its debut iceBike* Winter event, taking place next month, is set to launch 2011 ranges for Ridgeback, Saracen and Electron.

The distributor has hinted at some of the details of those new lines, including new branding and graphics for the Ridgeback 2011 range. The brand will see a new UltraFlight series, based on the original Ridgeback ‘Genesis’ Day 01, featuring superlight flat bar road bikes. The Switch series is set for a return too, redesigned and restyled with new versions of the Cyclone and Storm – rugged and more versatile alternatives to the mountain bike, according to Madison.

Electron’s 2010/2011 line-up is designed to be future-proof, with a complete commuting range and two new rechargeable lights.

Meanwhile the Saracen brand has built on the 2010 platform with an expansion of the Mantra, Zen and Amplitude categories. New colours and decal designs are set to put the brand bank on the map, the firm said.

Another insight into the iceBike* Winter line-up is the Cycraguard launch. A brand new clamp which is 60 per cent slimmer, 30 per cent lighter and even easier to fit will be unveiled.

IceBike* Winter kicks off on Sunday July 18th and runs until Thursday July 22nd. For more details head here, or the official site.
