Full Time Mechanic – Alpine Bikes Perth

We are delighted to be now recruiting for an experienced and qualified mechanic to join our team at our flagship Perth store. 

We are looking for someone with previous bike retail experience and is passionate about riding bikes and the delivery of excellent customer service. Successful candidates will also have a high degree of technical and mechanical knowledge as this role will involve building and repairing bikes, and therefore the successful candidate will have a Cytech qualification (or equivalent).

What does a day look like?

Our stores can be incredibly varied, and no two days are ever quite the same! However, you can expect to:

  • Repair and service bikes to the highest standards.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections on customers’ new bikes.
  • Maintain our excellent workshop standards. 
  • Share your expertise and connect with our customers as you assist them in purchasing the right gear to enjoy their ride.
  • Research and resolve customer issues.

Who are we looking for?

What makes a good colleague at Alpine Bikes? We believe you need:

  • A positive attitude.
  • An active life and a passion for the outdoors and cycling.
  • A high level of technical knowledge with a Cytech qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of repairing e-bikes with motor removal and diagnostics. Knowledge of Bosch system is essential, and knowledge of Specialized systems would be beneficial. 
  • A friendly and confident manner.
  • The ability to learn.
  • A passion for our products and be an ambassador for our values and our brand.
