Britain’s longest standing UCI team JLT Condor has announced a two-year partnership with Fenwick’s.
The family-owned British brand has been creating bicycle cleaning, maintenance and lubrication products for over 20 years.
In partnering with Fenwick’s for two seasons, the JLT Condor squad joins Drops women’s pro cycling team, Eisberg Canyon and the Tour of Britain who have opted to use Fenwick’s products in search of success at some of cycling’s toughest events.
Commenting on the partnership, JLT Condor’s team manager, John Herety said: “Fenwick’s range is substantial and their top-tier professional range has key products we need for race days.” “The introduction of disc brakes to the pro peloton requires our mechanics to have a new arsenal of products and we are delighted to use Fenwick’s tried and test braking fluids and cleaners.”
Led by three-time Olympic team pursuit champion, Ed Clancy, and managed by former national champion John Herety, 2018 will be JLT Condor’s eleventh year as a UCI Continental squad.
The team has won numerous stages at the Tours of Korea, Taiwan and New Zealand Cycle Challenge, as well as GC victories at the Tour du Loir-et-Cher and the Bay Crits. Team JLT Condor is also the reigning champions of the domestic Tour Series criterium competition.
Former riders Hugh Carthy, Alex Frame and Chris Lawless have progressed to riding for the EF Education First-Drapac, Trek-Segafredo and Team Sky UCI WorldTour teams respectively in 2018.
