HT Components Hector Martinez and Jake Scott from the USA will be joining Ison at Corebike

Ison adds high-end pedal label HT Components

Fresh on the back of Ison’s announcement that it has added Apidura luggage to its catalogue, the Cambridge firm has also revealed it now has stock of high-end pedal brand HT Components.

In the cycling business since 1954, HT now has riders such as multiple World Champion Aaron Gwin on its books, as well as manufacturing some of the thinnest flat pedals available on the market at present.

The HT Components X1 pedal is one of the latest additions to HT’s range, offering a reliable, serviceable, clipless pedal aimed at Downhill riders, with a strong engagement and a large but light platform with pins for extra grip.

Pinkbike recently praised the X1 pedal, saying it ‘feels extremely secure’ and weighing in at only 470g (415g with a Titanium axle) it’s certainly not neglecting the weight conscious.

HT Components’ Hector Martinez and Jake Scott from the USA will be joining Ison at Corebike 2015 to offer on hand expertise, alongside UK brand manager Jordan Lunn.

Ison’s UK Brand Manager Jordan Lunn said: “HT Components is a brand that I have been impressed by over the last number of years, and their new pedals continue that trend. With some of the most innovative technology, and best riders to boot, HT Components is a name to stay.”
