Islabikes has announced the appointment of Tobias Heimhalt as German brand specialist.
The appointment follows the establishment of Islabikes as a registered company in Germany.
Dave Bowater, Islabikes’ managing director said: “Although there is uncertainty surrounding Brexit and the United Kingdom’s future in the EU, we are committed to our customers in mainland Europe. With this in mind, we have set up Islabikes GmbH and have hired Tobias who is our brand specialist based full-time in Germany. We’re really excited to have Tobias on the team and look forward to developing the Islabikes offering for the German market.”
Heimhalt gained experience in a range of bicycle shops in Germany and Australia and was employed in external communications for Messingschlager. He has founded his own company, SEO Sichtbar, and has helped various companies in the outdoor and bicycle industry improve SEO. After a training period with Islabikes at its UK HQ, he is now in Germany and Islabikes has said he remains in contact with the team in the UK.
