High5 acquired by Associated British Foods

Alongside the publication of its half-year results Associated British Foods today has revealed it has acquired UK sports nutrition business H5 Ltd.

High5 is a hydration and energy brand with a turnover in 2016 of £9.2m. ABF owns Ryvita, Kingsmill bread, Jordans muesli and many other well-known food brands.

The brand is currently distrbuted to the cycle trade by Raleigh and others, such as Hotlines and Walkers Cycles. Associated British Foods said it would increase High5’s distribution footprint.
