Hamilton has signed a two year deal with Phonak. The Hombrechtikon-based team is aiming for the top-flight of cycle sport. Hamilton is a yellow jersey contender. He will be the team captain.
As revealed by BikeBiz.com on Friday night, US pro Tyler Hamilton has left the CSC team for the Swiss Phonak team. This will be disappointing to CSC, who would have hoped to cash in on the Hamilton/Tour de France IMAX movie released next year.
