Halfords has again scooped an award for its consumer website www.halfords.com at an awards ceremony this month.
During 2007 the retailer’s website ranked number one in the Hitwise UK Online Performance Awards which celebrates the most successful websites across 50 industries. www.halfords.com took the lead based on market share of visits among all UK websites in the Hitwise Shopping and Classifieds – Sport and Fitness industry category.
Results of the Hitwise UK Online Performance Awards are based on the Internet usage of 8.43 million UK Internet users with winners receiving the greatest market share of visits throughout 2007 in their online industry.
