Giro Sport Design has announced two strategic developments that highlight the brand’s continued investment in the European market: the appointment of Daan van Meeuwen as Marketing Specialist EMEA and the partnership with Fusion Media as its PR agency for Europe and the UK.
The move marks an important step in Giro’s European growth strategy, strengthening both regional marketing leadership and communications across key cycling and snow sports markets.
Fusion Media will lead media relations for Giro’s snow and bike categories (excluding gravity MTB) across Europe and the UK, while gravity-focused MTB media relations will continue to be managed by Mike Rose.

With headquarters in the UK and representation in several European countries, Fusion Media brings extensive experience in the outdoor and cycling industries. The partnership will help expand Giro’s presence within influential media, amplifying product launches, athlete stories, and retail initiatives.
Fusion will support Giro’s communications around major product launches, brand campaigns and trade activity, while helping to secure prominent editorial coverage across all regions.
The partnership builds on recent activity, including support around the Eclipse Pro helmet launch and new retail initiatives such as the UK partnership between Giro and VIA in London.
Together with the appointment of Daan van Meeuwen, the strengthened communications approach reflects Giro’s commitment to building deeper connections with riders, media, and retail partners across Europe.
