Returned to the area with its latest brand store, Giant has announced its Tugby store is open for business.

Neighbouring Café Ventoux, the new store is well located to cater to cyclists, with an abundance of cycling routes right on the doorstep.

Visitors looking for fresh, new, routes will be able to pop in and pick up some of the store teams’ favourite rides in the local area. Post-ride, visitors will be able to reward themselves with a delicious treat from Café Ventoux, known by many as the cycling café of choice in the Rutland and Leicestershire area.

Ian Beasant, MD of Giant UK, commented: “After a short break, we’re back in the local area to continue supporting the existing loyal consumers we served at Giant Rutland. The all-new and improved store has something for all cyclists and is perfectly placed in rural Leicestershire.”

The Tugby Store is positioned as the ultimate destination for cyclists in Rutland and Leicestershire, offering a wide selection of products from Giant, Liv, Momentum, and CADEX brands, as well as servicing for all bike brands.

Beasant continued: “We’ve got a host of events planned, with the first being Saturday, April 20th.”

Riders interested in attending the store opening event can register their interest, as well as find out more about store activities, by clicking here.

Store manager Ady Turner said: “Customers have already shown a huge interest in the store and joining our community. We can’t wait to welcome them back. We’re amazingly situated, with many great cycling routes and the café next door.”

Customers can browse a wide selection of bikes, including road, mountain, lifestyle, electric, and children’s bikes. There is also a selection of hire bikes for people wanting to explore local rides.

Giant proposes to roll out further brand stores in key target locations, having opened a first Scottish brand store in Stirling, and added a location in Cambridge, during the past 12 months.
