G-Light launches on Kickstarter

The G-Light, a g-force activated brake light with compass-assisted turn signals, has been launched on Kickstarter.

The ‘smart’ brake light means that when a rider applies the brake, the light turns on, and when the rider stops, the light goes back to normal.

Riders can also use integrated turn signals when the remote is purchased too.

The light has 90-degree detection technology, and the turn signals stop automatically when the rider has finished turning.

The G-Light is also designed to be compatible with electric skateboards, with a low profile design and a baseplate clip included.

It has seven ultra-bright LEDs, an internal levelling tool and a magnetic remote holder.

The ergonomic remote fits the shape of the hand for a natural grip, and the production version is planned to be made out of soft silicone.

The light charges with a micro USB cable and a full charge can last 40 hours.
